I fitted Cruizer Monroes today as above. My old OME N84 (front) and N85 (rear) only had 2" of downward travel remaining (and they were tired anyway) after I fitted 2" extended shackles, and a set of 2" lift OME leafsprings all around. Now I've got much more downward travel, and bumpst...

Well.........during our Gauteng joll session I broke my Fan blades off and damaged my radiator. Fan Toyota R1300.00 Fan Gemini parts R895.00....no stock And this is only the blades, not the complete viscous fan... Anyone know of somewhere cheaper...? Radiator I dont even want to look at right now....

I have seen blades on the 2.7 rear that was BADLY arched. He had two rooftops and a drawer system. It is an ex-hire 4x4, so I can imagine people abuse them and overload them too. I would go for an extre blade on each side in the rear. But only if you carry +-500kg all the time.(which is easy to carr...

Run-up is about 30m. Very smooth and fine sand.

With my KZTE conversion it was about R4000 - R4500 from Toyota. And they dont sell a kit. Everything must be bought loose.
Got a Sachs Kit from Midas at R2500 if I remember correctly.
Cassie, its a bollie job. I had a mate help me, and it took us 3hrs. And that box is heavy boet !!

If there's a collapsable preload spacer in the pinion, you cannot just torque it. The more you torque the more the spacer collapses, the more the preload becomes. If there's a solid spacer, you simply just torque it. This spacer I'm talking about will be between your two bearings on the pinion. Mayb...

OK.....let me try and explain. Firstly, you get a "cracking preload" and a "rolling preload" A cracking preload is when you start turning. (the innitial force to get the pinion to turn.) A rolling preload is when its already in motion. (keeping it turning at the same speed) Crack...
