Diff plug

Weet julle, ek kan nie verstaan hoekom mense dink dat iets beter gaan werk as hy 'n bout of moer so vas draai as wat hy kan nie! :confused:
My agterste diff het so effens olie gelek en nadat ek die 'breather' ge-ontblok en verleng het het hy opgehou. Nou begin 'n man so kop jou mos jaag en jy vra jouself af: Het hy opgehou omdat hy nie meer drukking kan opbou nie, of is dit omdat daar nie meer olie is om te lek nie?
Nou kan ek nie die verdomde 'plug' uitkry om te kyk nie! :problem: :?:

Daar's mos altyd een moer wat nie wil uit nie...

Try hom so bietjie-bietjie los tik met 'n hamer nadat jy spook piepie gespuit en hom so rukkie laat staan het.. Try 'n ring spanner ook...minder risiko om die moer te beskadig... Hoop jy kom reg...

Die enigste anner way dan is om die een wiel op te lig, en die as te verwyder...maar daai is baie werk...

Het vandag 'n 'power handle' gaan kry. Sal hom more oggend weer probeer.

Pieter,gebruik n hex socket en nie n spline nie.Hy strip nie so maklik nie.n Impact tool sal ook help.

Thanks vir al die tips, ek het vandag reg gekom. Q20, hamer en 'n power handle, en BAIE geduld! Het toe darem nog redelik baie olie in gehad, maar het dit toe sommer vervang.
Johan, ek het juis vandag so een gebruik, moet sê dit werk lekker, hoef nie te kommer oor boude wat strip nie.

Is maar hoe hy gelyk het die eerste keer wat ek die olie wou ruil.
Vorige eienaar het die bakkie net by agente laat diens so niemand sal ooit weet hoe hy so gekom het nie.

Pieter, die "nuwe" agente is soms so besig om te diens dat hulle nie altyd agterkom hulle het nie die regte grote tools wat pas nie, dan maak hulle 'n "plan". Ek wil nie iemand beskuldig of sleg se nie, maar na 7 jaar in daai bedryf weet ek genoeg om net liewers niks te se nie. :silent:

Ek vermoed daai was 'n learner wat met 'n beitel en hamer die plug los geslaan het..... :o:

It is the only way to remove the plug on your Hilux!!
Nog 'n idee, is om 'n stuk rond of square bar op die 'moer' te weld dan het jy beter leaveridge

As die boutkop so beskadig is soos die een wat Pieter daar wys kan jy ook met 'n metrinch socket regkom. Ek het al ou karre gery en metrinch doen wondere aan beskadigde boutkoppe.

As 'n bout so lelik lyk, vang ek hom partykeer met 'n Bobbejaan spanner. Na dit is hy nogal goed I.S.M. en moet vervang word, maar hy is darem uit. :thumbup:

Ja dit is nogal beskikbaar. Ek het lank terug 'n Gedore stel gekoop dit het ook 'n TMZ nommer en is maar dieselfde groottes as die metrieke TMZ stel vanaf 'n 8mm tot by 'n 32mm. Hulle werk net nie lekker in tight spasies nie.
