N4 highway heading to Botswana.
We are leaving for Nam on Saturday morning. Going up the Trans Kalahari highway. Have heard that there are major roadworks in the Zeerust area. Can anyone confirm this and would it be advisable to go via Koster and Swartruggens?

Came back that route the long weekend from mabuashehube. We had absolutely no troubles at all.
There is a section where the road is narrowed, but traffic going bothways in it.

If you go via Koster and Swartruggens you still go through Zeerust. that road joins the N4 at Swartruggens.
