When travelling to work(a full 5 min) I cross a single lane traffic circle.When i got here in George I taught the Georgians was slow drivers because everyone stops at the circle and treat it as a 4 way stop.I was under the impression that you give way to the cars coming from the right like in a 2 lane circle.Lucky being me I tried to blend in with the locals so I followed their "example",but now and again when I am in a hurry I will enforce my "right hand right of way" ideology.With a few hoots and sign language
Today I googled a bit and the Georgians are right
Mini-circles Slow down and give way to other vehicles that cross any Yield line before you do. Proceed in a clockwise direction around the painted island, without driving on it. - See more at: http://www.arrivealive.co.za/pages.aspx ... KyAit.dpuf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Sincere apologies to all Georgians.From your humble servant George
