Chev Lumina V8 conversion

Post by Cheetah Drakie »

 Driving past a few Chev Lumina SS Utility vehicles (I just can't call it a bakkie), I got to thinking if the Chev V8 would be a suitable conversion on a IFS? Lets hear it from the guru's.

Pro's and con's please ladies and gents.

There is two running in Cape town, both in SFA's, i would rather fit it in a KZTE (You've got the right box and diffs already), you'll need a serious brake upgrade, but it will be an exciting vehicle with more power than you can ever need.

Cool sounds awesome, and what mods would be required for a 2.7? :taunt:

It would be the best to use the Lumina's own box and have an adaptor made for the hilux transfer, swop the diff centres out with KZ centres
