Ek het in Aug 2009 'n 2006 3.0 D4D D/K 4x4 aka 'Goldilocks' tweedehands gekoop by my swaer. Ek en my vrou Fiona is mal oor overlanding trips, kampeer, voëlskyk, bomekyk, tuinmaak - die buitelewe. Sedert 2009 was ons al Khgalagadi toe, Richtersveld en Namakwa Eko roete, Namakwa Nasionale park via Van Wyksvlei, Limpopo, Mphumalanga, Wes Kaap (menigte kampeerplekke), 6 nasionale parke in 2010, en die onlangse hoogtepunt, Gonarezhou via Pafuri. Ek kan onomwonde stel dat ek baie lief is vir my vrou en dogters en dat ek so bietjie meer geheg is aan my Hilux as wat regtig nodig is.
Ek sien uit daarna om 'n paar geleenthede by te woon om ander lede te ontmoet.

Kobus, jy is reeds lank 'n lid van ons familie, maar in elk geval, weereens, welkom! Alhoewel jy nie gereeld hier pos nie sien ons darem dat jy amper elke aand hier lees, maar as jy nou geneig is om te pos kan jy so bietjie meer oor jou overlanding trips gesels en 'n paar fotos laai. 
Ek is heeltemal seker dat die ouens in jou area jou teenwoordigheid sal waardeer by enige van die saamtrekke wat hulle reël. Meld net aan!
