hi boks

yes you can do a 4x4 conversion , but it is going to cost you a good couple of grand . first off . you need to find the kzte 4x4 gearbox , as your g/box wont work . and there you are looking at between R 10 000.00 to approx R 13 000.00 .
then comes the front diff setup , and thats also going to cost some good money . inc a front propshaft and you also might have to mod your rear prop for lenth.
if you are still interested , you can give the guys at n1 4x4 a call for exact prices and spares . they will help you were they can . there no is ( 012 )545 0200 .
you can also try CITY DEEP AUTO SPARES in jhb . they have some kzte 4x4s standing there for stripping . sorry but i do not have there no with me .

hoop jy kom reg .

Is it not a better option to sell the 4x2, add the 30K to the money made, and look for a KZ 4x4? Less hassles?

yes i would agree , you will have much less hassles buying a 4x4 kzte than moding a 4x2 to a 4x4 .
if it was me i would go the route of buying a 4x4 instead of doing the mod
but if you have some spare time and some spare cash laying around , yes it can be done .
