Slider for 40 l Engel

Post by Tonto »

Does anyone have the dimensions for the baseplate to fit under a 40l Engel?
I would like to make a slide, but would like the fridge to clip into the base.
Any other ideas will be appreciated.

I made a frame from 20x3 angle iron and used plywood to fit into frame. I carpeted the plywood board. I then drilled holes through the board and angle iron frame and put eye bolts through. I then used two rathchet straps to tie it down on frame/board. I then used some furnlock sliders and bolted the frame/board to the sliders. Then bolted the sliders down on bak. It is very sturdy and fridge does not move. Board and angle iron R100. Sliders R 265. Bolts, garpet glue and straps R100. Patio door lock to lock slide in position R45 .

I made mine with furnlock sliders, angle iron and 4 thin slices of 60mm tubing to make "footholders" for the rubber feet of the Engel to fit into.

Spacing of the feet center's is 210mm width and 480mm length.
