I purchased a L300 Mitshubusi motorhome. Stating that it is under powered is an exaggeration - it is powerless.
I want to fit a 2c Toyota motor with a turbo charger. I require the power and torque curves on this engine.
Please help

Dave, don't even consider it, made the mistake of fitting one in my lux and it was totally underpowered.

Re: Info on 2c Toyota motor with turbo
Thanks for the info. The L300 develops 43kW and the 2c develops 65kW. If the 3C will fit I will have to change the gearbox as well- this will make a 22year old motorhome too expensive.
Do you have any other suggestions? I will appreciate it

Re: Info on 2c Toyota motor with turbo
Hi Dave
The 2C is underpowered for a Hilux, not bad off-road, but topend is min. 3C is better, but definately fit the intercooler, for more power and to keep it cool. got 2 x 2c and 1x 3C in my garage. good motor if the crankshaft pulley still runs for 300Km on the battery
can't remember if you can change just the bellhousing on the L300?
