Hi andy thanks the winch will be constantly engaged meaning I couldnt free spool it , i did give it alot of thought. The profile on the cover and having a cut out for the winch lever , made me nervous of the plate being weak and flexing. The spot lights that will be going on top will then also be directly in front of the radiator if I had made those cut outs.

Hmmmm .....
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!
