Since my Hilux is in hospital, getting a heart transplant, I took the Touareg out to test it's skills today.
There is this new 4x4 track between Langebaan and Hopefield at Plaasmol Padstal.
At first I was scheptic about driving a track in this area, as everything around here is flat.
In the end I actually liked the track very much. What they did different is that the main purpose of this track is to teach drivers how to drive different scenarios you will often encounter on overland trips. The obstacles were build so that newcomers can come and test their skills before tackling overlanding trips in places like Botswana.
Plenty of axcle twisters and some of them were very deep.
I was driving in front so I do not have plenty of Treg pics.
I was pleasently surprised by the Touareg's abilities. It did much better than I anticipated.
I will recommend this track to anybody who would like to test their skills or would like to learn to drive.

Lekker. Naby geneg vir 'n dag uitsappie. Kan jy alleen ry?

Re: Plaasmol 4x4 Track Near Hopefield
