Engine light on 4.0 v6
I have a 2006 4.0 v6 and the engine light keeps coming on. I have removed the battery terminals for 3 minutes to reset the computer but if I start the vehicle
the light comes on again. I have check all the water and oil levels and it is all in order. Please give me some advise on what to do next

Get a dealer or reputable service centre to run diagnostics on the car. Should tell you the problem

You will need to scan the ecu to see what faults are logged. Pity you are so far away.

Took the bakkie to Toyota this morning and their computer shows sensors on the left and right of engin just before the cats are faulty, so I will replace them, and man they are pricey!

Yes, those O2's have horrible TOY price. Have you maybe considered going aftermarket?
I believe they are just normal Denso. Have never asked the forum thouh, maybe someone
may provide some advice...

on the v6 it do not last long, so I have to pay

Not required. Remove cats and put in dummy sensors
