Hi Robert!!
I just replaced my whole suspension (front and back) with MIKEM Suspension. raised my old SFA with 45mm. Call Darrell at MIKEM suspensions. He is also a member on this forum (MIKEM1)
Best service and prises ever!! You will not regret it.
Cheers

Re: 2006 Fortuner body lift kit
Robert what do you want to do :
- raise the suspension, OR
- raise the body above the chassis ?
For a quick suspension lift - you can buy spacers from 4x4Direct. Or replace the Ironman Suspension ...
Body lift is only done to fit much larger tires, doubt this is what you want to do.

Already have the iron man in ,just looking for body lift ,to have the van a bit higher .
had a fried who helped with these things but now moved to another plannet.
dont know if i put the spacers in will there be issues with gear levers ,etc
main reason is to make it look better for me.bit higher

Re: 2006 Fortuner body lift kit
There is a mob called lux lifts in new Zealand. They may do a kit, if not id say a lux one wouldn't be that hard to make work. I've body lifted my lux with a kit from VMN, awesome kit as it has everything! If the tuna is anything like the lux you'll need to drop the radiator, extend the steering shaft and the airbox to turbo pipe as well as other things!

If you stick below 50mm, then you will not have to do major mods, the critical things are the break lines, steering rack and radiator.
Your front and rear bumpers will also have to be lifted as they are attached to the chassis and not the body.
Give Darrel a shout, he did my body lift.
