Yikes! I don't see anywhere that the frame around the motor can be un-bolted - looks like the only way to get that motor out is to strip it out.
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

It's a rat bike. They will just cut the top struts off probably and then weld in new ones.Mud Dog wrote:Yikes! I don't see anywhere that the frame around the motor can be un-bolted - looks like the only way to get that motor out is to strip it out.

Re: Lexus Rat Trike
Is it just me, or should the trike not be SMALLER than the car from which you had stripped the motor?
I love the look, but methinks it could be a bit of a handfull on the road. And ear. And the occasional pants.

I feel a lot less wise at 45 than I did at 15.

Re: Lexus Rat Trike
If they do that, they will have to weld with the motor in place. Not a good option, also no space to weld fully around the pipe.4x4BEES wrote:It's a rat bike. Re: Lexus Rat Trike
Also wondered about that ..... I'm assuming that's the oil radiator and that there's an engine coolant radiator with fan built in somewhere behind the motor / gearbox.pietpetoors wrote:Doesn't have a big radiator, is the air enough to cool it?

Radiator is at the back - look at the long water pipes from the front along the sides. Must have additional pumps to circulate it that far !
