Getting replacement key for Hilux
We have a Hilux 2.7i (1999) which we love. The master key was stolen and we want to replace it. Toyota in Cape Town say they can't code a new key from the copy we still have and need the master or they will replace the ECU. Can anyone suggest an independent company in Cape Town who can help us get a replacement key cut and coded? Thanks Mike.

Re: Getting replacement key for Hilux
The entire ECU does NOT need replacing. Just the transponder ecu. If at all but I remember with the Jeep that builders was able to but a key and code it for us at one stage. Try there, you never know.Mike Kendrick wrote:We have a Hilux 2.7i (1999) which we love. The master key was stolen and we want to replace it.
