Nissan GTR vs Yamaha R1, and Suzuki GSXR 1000! They didn't expect this outcome!

Those GTR s are very quick
they are very quick off the line

however :laugh2:
Not sure is stock if it will do that to the bikes

the bikes :laugh2:
the moment the front wheel is up, forward momentum is lost
and the fastest bike rider got the wheel up
(1000cc bike are very close in performance to each other)
And the fastest bike got the wheel up while the other fell behind and then the slower rider went past the one quicker off the line
its not easy to to get a bike off the line quick

Self ride bike, and self am slow off the line :laugh2:

there are a lot of add on goddies for those GTRs and have read claims of over 1000hp
for that GTR to pull away at that high speed after the bike cough up, something else was added/ activated

think if there was a better rider on the bikes at least for the 1st part it could of looked different

however those GTRs are quick in stock form :laugh2:

AFAIK the Yamaha F1 is the fastest standard production bike ..... know first hand that they can do over 300kmph off the floor. Also doubt that the Nissan is standard, but even in standard form those things are impressive.
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

Is the BMW 1000 RR not the fastest "off the shelf" at the moment ??

not that it makes much of a difference - ALL these bikes top out over 300km/h .....

the first time I EXPERIENCED the speed of a modern bike was on a BMW 1200 RR - and that is NOT a super bike !!

friend test drove it from Auto Atlantic to Houtbay - we had a chat there, then he took my RT, while I tested the RR along Lundudno ... Stopped at one point, when I pulled away there was NO car in sight, gently on the throttle, got it back on the tar - and then saw a car catching up FAST .... BLIPPED the throttle, 2nd gear, blipped the throttle, and then I had to lean in for the next turn - 120km/h !!!

the 1200RT had a 0-100 time of 3,6 seconds - thats while sitting upright .... MAN, its nice !!

DONT know how that feels on a super bike, not sure I want to feel it .... mag myself dalk net seer maak ...

All production bikes from Japan are limited to 300kph.
It's been like that since early 2000's if I am not mistaken.

I just sold my GSXR1000K4 :( and I had her at 316 on my garmin, I had to slow down due to running out of OPEN road (no TRAFFIC)...
My K4 was stock standard apart from a 2 Brothers System, so Limited at 300 is not 100% true on ALL bikes.......

Still that GTR si dam fast..... :o:
4 wheel will ALWAYS be faster on pull off, do the same race with a rolling start of 100km/h and it might be different....
Live Life in the FAST lane....

To 4x4 or not to 4x4 thats the question....
IT'S A JEEP :yahoo: ..... You wouldn't understand....

Suzuki Hayabusa is the fastest production bike.

The bikes aint limited to 300kph. The only let the digital clocks read to 299.

You hit 299 in 5the gear, then only hook 6th, the rev counter still moves, you pick up speed but clocks stay on 299. This is for the bikes with Digital speedo's.
