Hi Simon,

Back in the day I used to sell EFi mod'd ones for around R1000. So I'd say R600 stock standard.

From Midas Queen Motor Spares they sell them for R640.00 but out of 2 new ones both units were faulty.
Thus I need to know what the new genuine ones cost direct from Toyota?

Why don't you just phone Toyota and ask them?

Yip, I do occassionally come up with good ideas..my speciality are the original ideas.......so here goes.....How about trying a (non local) Toyota spares dealership.... the long distance phonecall may cost a bit more but the time you save waiting on the forum for an answer may be worth it?
