Replacement of Yaris clutch

Post by Derren »

Hi,

According to the Toyota dealer the clutch needs to be replaced on my Yaris at at cost of approximately R7500

It is a 2005 model so happy to take it to a reputable non Toyota dealer if the price is better.

Does anybody have an recommendations in the Cape Town area? I live in Milnerton Ridge, work in Century City.

Thanks
Derren

If you are hands on you could do it yourself, pretty easy, otherwise Hoppy is your man, a fellow club member

R7,500 to replace a clutch , ridiculous !
Also ask George, his father in law also has a workshop but it is not in Milnerton,
think it is at Parow or Paarden Eiland or something, just ask Georgy boy, his father in law is good.

Derren, when it has been fixed, please report back with the real cost for such a job. Would be interesting to see.

Hi George,
Thanks for the number, will give him a call. Parow is close enough.

Hi Pieter,
Yeah, ridiculous indeed. Will report back when it is done.

Thanks all.
Will arrange to have it done in the new year though.
