Good day all,

Final word on the Event.

Gerotec say they will still have the event, but then we have to be not less than 45 adults, note price then also go up to R422 per person because of the less people turnout.

I only have till Tommorow 12 pm to give them a final answer. I know you all looked forward to this but if we can not get the people then we should look to re-schedule the Event to a another date, remember the more people we get the price will come down.

Louis.... I hate to be the one to say this but it seems that we're not even going to make 45 adults.

I looked forward to this event for a while now but why not reschedule it to later in the year. Maybe in a month or two....or three..... Then we can get more people involved and the more people we get involved the cheaper. :)

Bulldog is back with the Spray Painters, to sort out one or two minor issues (actaully, 25 of them! ) from the time he received his new clothes. Not even sure he will be back by Friday, worst offender seems to be the tail gate which has developed a cancerous rust

RHINO PARK!

Rhino Park is situated off the Bapsfontein/Rayton off ramp, round about 35km from
Pretoria and 11km from Rayton. Rhino Park is also the Home of McCarthy 4x4 club,
the true home of the passionate 4x4’er!

With its bar and restaurant, as well as a braai area and ablution facilities with hot
water, it is the perfect getaway for the whole family and day visitors!

Rhino Park boasts a 3 ½ rating, 12km route for day trips and obstacles, a challenge
without navigation support! And the best time of year is…all year round!

The McCarthy 4x4 club trail at Rhino Park, is a guided trail for 4x4's only. The departure
times are as follows,10h00 and 14h00 Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
The guided trail departs from outside the McCarthy 4x4 Clubhouse gate. You
must however report to the guide on duty at the McCarthy 4x4 Clubhouse before
the departure times with an indemnity form completed at the entrance gate.

The club house is a proud part of the McCarthy 4x4 club and we invite our members
to join in the activities at the club house.

I postpone the Gerotec Event. I think is better if they could give us possible dates in future, we get the right amount of people beforehand and book the event.

Rhino Park(McCarthy Toyota) is holding this Saturday their interclub challenge, this will be between let say their club versus Landrover,etc. If you want more detail you can contact Anthonie at McCarty Toyota in Centurion at 012 653 4553. We will be there with few of our items.
