Just beware of the coordinates on their site. You GPS will take you to the wrong side of the premises.

The easiest is to drive on the R59 and take the Henley Road off-ramp. Turn towards Henley on Klip and the 4way stop after the Total garage turn left (there are sign posts at this point showing bass lake)

Please just a reminder to everyone, you should have recovery gear with you, at least a strap. These things are expensive, and the unwritten rule is, if you use someone elses gear and it gets damaged, you must replace it. So please don't forget your recovery gear at home.

So after my chat with Bass Lake this morning to confirm that we may indeed drive the trail they informed me that it will not be possible as it is too wet

which has resulted in me going with plan B.

Plan B is Heidelberg. All arrangements have been made and they are more than happy to accommodate us on such short notice. Due to the property being sold they are undergoing renovations so the braai area is not the best but they are making a plan for us. Everything remains the same as it was at BL. If you are concerned about distance, Heidelberg is 45km from BL so not much of a difference.

Cost is R150 per vehicle and no R100 deposit.
