Does this plug into the stock ecu?
If i wanted to remove the chip is it a big job?

Its normally spliced in before the ECU

Diesel chip plug and play .
Afaik .
Gray plug on front close to dip stick . Near fuel rail . To a black plug . 3 wire total .

Unichip is great, especially the plug and play unit. I use it in my Fortuner as well as had a JWC exh fitted. I had 5 maps tuned on the Uni-Q chip and select the required map for the type of performance I need at the moment.
Power in the high performance setting is 183kw at 3700rpmn and just over 500nm torque.
A properly designed and manufactured down-pipe and rear exhaust section, can free-up more than 16 kw even without a chip!!

My D4D Fortuner I did at SAC in Boksburg.
Removed the CAT, and also fitted a foam airfilter.
I got 153kw and 508Nm on the flywheel.
