Fuel consumption - From 8km/l to 18km/l

Post by CasKru »

With the fuel price that keeps on increasing I had to make plan with my bakkies fuel consumption and that's when I decided to buy HalveLoaf..
HalveLoaf.jpg
So for less than I paid on fuel in Bloudraad aka CasKar, I now pay instalment, fuel, insurance and further fuel increases won't hurt as much. The last tank I got 18km/l.

I do miss driving Bloudraad everyday though :(

Ek sou graag die Aygo of Yaris roete wou gaan maar die Kia het meer in die budget gepas vir die ouderdom model.

My Atos werk LEKKER vir die dag tot dag trippies. :)

Ek het voorheen amper 60km per dag gery net tot by die werk en terug - nou is daai trippie minder as 10km, heen en terug.

Ek was BLY om nie meer in die verkeer te sit nie, maar nou mis ek dit nog minder .... :)

i'm seriously contemplating putting in a gas system in the 2.7 as well.
Gas should be about R7 per lt now. Wonder how much i would have to drive to recover the R7000 installation costs though.

Also an option.. but I myself don't like conversions for the reason of the teething issues.

Ek het gehoort 64c/l

So:
Bloudraad (7km/l) : 1700km / 7 = 243L * 11.05 (huidige prys) = R2685
Bloublasie (18km/l) : 1700km / 18 = 95L + 11.05 (huidige prys) = R1050
Diff: R1635

Met verhoging:
Bloudraad (7km/l) : 1700km / 7 = 243L * 11.69 (huidige prys) = R2841
Bloublasie (18km/l) : 1700km / 18 = 95L + 11.69 (huidige prys) = R1111
Diff: R1730

So my besluit om die loopring aan te skaf lyk my was op die regte tyd
