SHUDDER WHEN PULLING AWAY

I have a shudder on my bakkie when pulling away and have complained about this when I took it in for the 50 000km service. Toyota will now replace the clutch under warranty - the entire clutch including flywheel . Apparrantly a new (different) flywheel is available to replace the one the vehicle come out with.... :roll:
Just a pity a have been waiting for over a month for stock of the new flywheel. :x

Assume it's a 3.0 D4D or 4.0 V6, yes this has been a problem with the new nodels and also been discussed here quite a bit, but great to know they are doing their bit

It's a 2009 3.0 D4D. It started at around 35 000km but I thought I was just my imagination as it was only doing it every now and then. It is now much worse, especially in 4wd low.

Bester, take it back to Toy let 'em fix it, if they give you any hassle call ToySA :!:

That's why I was asking!
I'm lucky tho... mine on 54 000km, but no problem with the clutch.

My bakkie doen dieselfde, maar gaan Toyota nou weer se dis asgevolg van die aftermarket suspension en die groter wiele? Ek het altyd gedoeg dis ek wat nie die clutch kan gewoont raak nie, maar nou die dag het 'n vriend met my bakkie gery en hy het dieselfde bevestig.

Sal maar 'n draai gaan maak daar by Toyota

Ek het ook eers gedink dis net ek wat nie reg wegtrek nie, maar my vorige Hilux, 2007 model het geen probleme gehad nie.

Toyota wag nogsteeds vir die flywheel...

Ai die forum is darem maar wonderlik.
My bakkie het dit ook begin doen op +-45000... het gedog dit is my fout!!!
Nou op 55000 is dit daadwerklik 'n probleem.
Ek bel sommer vir Toyota dadelik

I have a 2009 D4D and every now and then mine does the same. I had my vehicle at the dealer on Tuesday for a service and asked them to check. When I collected they said there is nothing wrong. I must monitor the vehicle and if it continues I must bring it back.

It has arrived, going in this afternoon for replacement. Hope it solves the problem.
