What do you guys think of a condor 2.4i motor in a Hilux sfa.
Is this a 22R with EFI on or not?
What will the cost be?
I saw on a website that the power is ok, 108kw and 298Nm/T.

Re: Condor 2.4i conversion
Hi,
I was thinking along the same lines. But the 2.4i you refer to is completely different. Could be done but you proberly better off with a 2.7i

I think they use the 2RZ motor in the Condor, this is basically the predecessor of the 2.7 3RZ motor, they are very highly rated in the states, almost on par with the 2.7 3RZ.

Re: Condor 2.4i conversion
The 1RZ 2.0L, 2RZ 2.4L, 3RZ 2.7L, all use the same block, but the bore, stroke and cylinder heads differ, they all use the same bell housing, (Not the same as anny other Toyota motors), but the bell housing is std fit on the gearbox side.
For the same amount of trouble you can fit a 2.7 wich is multivalve, more economical and more powerfull.
I have fitted a few 2.7's with carburettors with good results.
