Hi Guys.

Mikem suspensions has a new home in jhb 137 eloff str extension.We have a fully equipped
service centre for a suspension requirements as well as sales etc.We invested in machinery which enables us to Service the Bilstein shocks in house.We will test shocks etc and supply.
All products brought from us will be fitted for free as our June special.

Darelle... can you guys retension leaves as well? IF so do you add a blade? Don one loose articulation?

Hi Cassie.
Yes we can retension blades is actually just more work as we have to remove the blades then load test them at the supplier to see how they are then modify accordingly ie add blades etc.Then its the whole process of shot peening,tempering,setting and scragging etc and then load tested again to check them.It has to be done correctly to ensure the life of the spring otherwise you wasting your time.
When the a new set costs just about the same at the end of this whole process and its less time consuming.Understand the supplier if they make 20 you get them qickly if you retensioning you wait as its not priority for them.I squeeze a favour every now and then but i try sell new at decent prices.
The harder the spring the less flexibility you will haveand visa versa.

Thanks Darrell. More or less what I thought. So unless one can do it one self it is not really that cost effective. Thanks for the feedback

I've fitted Mikem the other day and I am extremely happy. Work Shop is neat and well organized.

Looking good, except I didn't see any beer fridge :thumbdown: how can you get any work done with out the main tools.
