One can actually do this in a 2x4 plaas bakkie but it was still a good exercise for my wife to get used to the donkey lever
You are allowed to get out of your vehicle as long as you use common sense and stay within 7 meters of your vehicle. This is NICE
This trip reminde me of being in Bots !The trail is just over 50km and takes about 4-5 hrs to drive. Only six vehicles per day are alowed in. I did not encounter any one else during the trip. This is nice. You feel like you are alone out there in the middle of nowhere.
We encounter a variety of game: rhino, ellies, giraffe, antelope, buffalo, wildebeest, hippo and even a ratel !
The bakkie behaved well as expected. Down to the Kruger I got 7.5 km/l with a wind from front and doing about 120km/h. Back I got 8.2 km/l. Wind from the wrong side is a female dog on that brick !
We stayed at a nice lodge " Nkambeni Tented Lodge " at the Numbi gate iside the Kruger. I can realy recomend them. Nice food !
