Free wheel hubs

Post by Gov »

Hi,

Need a replacement set of Hubs for my SFA.

Called commercial Auto parts and they do have but they need to know how many splines and bolts it has.

The bakkie is in Durbs and I'm here in PTA, are all of them the same and someone help me out?

Thanks

Hey Gov,

I'm pretty sure they're all the same.

definitely 6 bolts.
Can't confirm the splines though, but I think there are 32.

What is wrong with the hubs? Can you not rebuild them? I can't think of much that can go wrong.

Have a look here: viewtopic.php?f=92&t=9011&start=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Standard splines are 27

Its true, try to see if it can be rebuilt and then buy new ones, if you want I will be able to help you on it.

Thanks for the input guys.

The one side on my hilux has a broken spring, so I have to replace.

I did recondition a set of hubs before on a Mazda B-Series.

Thanks for the offer Wilson, but the lux is in Durban at the moment, but since it's a long weekend I'm in Durbs too! I will remove the hubs confirm the splines and get a set.

Commercial auto parts does have them, the prices range between R995 to R1250 a pair.
