Hi All

I have been a member under the name rastafox and have re-registered under the name indabundu.

I have just purchased a tired 1989 2200 4x4 that has been converted into a station wagon (could be Cammy's conversion). I almost strayed and bought a Landy, but sense (or is that passion) prevailed and I look forward to getting my Lux sorted.

Thanks - pics will follow shortly. The Bantam is long history and currently off-loading our Kia Sportage. It's all Lux from here on in. I will post pics as soon as SWMBO has taken them. I will also be needing some help to identify the station wagon conversion.

Bakkie will be in next week for full inspection and we will take it from there.

Very rusty leaf springs will be replaced by Mikem suspension system and possible heart transplant. ( would love to replace 4y with 22r, but only if a simple swap.) Been quoted R16 000 to R20 000 for a complete rebuild of existing 4y (450 000km done). Perhaps an alternative engine swap will be cheaper?

No smile as broad as driving die "Wit Gevaar" home yesterday. Love at first drive!!!

Hi Mark,

No need to re-register, any of the Mods can change your user-name for you, by request.

Should we delete "Rastafox"?
