Wynns Diesel Conditioner
As you may know, I have been struggling with my Diesel since the cold weather has hit. It has been difficult to start and won't rev up and has barely enough power to get up the drive. I was given an excerpt from the Landcruiser forum where they have had similar issues and it was suggested that I try Wynns Diesel Conditioner.
My local AutoZone had never heard of it but ordered me 2 bottles from their rep.
I threw it in the tank last night. 1 bottle treats up to 70 litres
I suppose it would be better to put it in an empty tank and then fill up to ensure a good mix but I didn't have that luxury - my tank is almost full!
Well, this morning it was a bit better. As I drove the vehicle over bumps - I made a point of this, to try and mix it up a bit, it got better and better.
When its had a chance to work through the sytem I will be better able to comment further and of course tomorrow morning will be the real test.

Re: Wynns Diesel Conditioner
Richard, good on you for not posting pics of a clean Hilux.
Will be interesting to read on the results you get with the Diesel Conditioner.

Re: Wynns Diesel Conditioner
Hi Richard
I have used this before and still continue to do so, though i thought I was cleaning the dirt in the diesel, in case I cannot get the ultra low sulphur, did not think it'll help in the cold. But now that you have posted a pic, only then do I see "Ice proof" on the bottle. ya, neh?
Thank you once more.

Re: Wynns Diesel Conditioner
OK, update time:
Started this morning fine, idle perfect, could drive away straight away.
If my usual lux performance was 100%, then without Wynns my performance had dropped to 15% and with the Wynns I am back to 80%.
I can now strongly recommend this product to prevent your diesel from thickening.
I will however only fill-up with ULS diesel where available but keep a few bottles of Wynns behind the seat just in case only regular diesel is available
