Fairly comprehensive cover and no limitations as to which hospital/docter you use. Don't forget the part about whic...

Oil Consumption?

Ok, so I'm full of questions today.

What's an acceptable oil consumption for our vehicles?

Mine has 190 000 k's on the clock and I'm at about 1pt/1000 km.

This sound right? It doesn't smoke or anything.

Re: Medical Aid

Depends where you currently are... Married? Single? If single I'd consider a medical insurance. Way cheaper and, If I remember correctly - tax deductable. Only covers in-hospital cases. I had a back operation that worked out + R60 k and no problems. If you have a family, I'd consider Discovery. A bi...

Rims or Mags??

Hi Guys,

Just a question: A mate of mine told me a while ago that mags are much stronger and less prone to buckling than the old steel rims.

Is there any truth to this? :eh:

I'm considering replacing my old, standard rims with mags but don't want to waste my money.

Hi Guys,

My 95 lux has a slight tap-tap sound when idling. I have been told that it's most probably a sticky valve or tappit. When I drive I can still hear it but it's really very faint.

Is this something I should be concerned about?
