Hi guys,
Just some input needed. I have a guy at work who has just bought a brand new "standard" Dictator system with the relay. He was going to put into a warmed up golf, but has been told it cannot be used, so now wants to sell it for R1500. He bought it on Monday, and everything is still in the box etc.
Is this the dictator that you guys use for the EFI conversion on a 4Y motor?
And is this worthwhile buying for the price?
I am wanting to get the EFI conversion done early next year, once I have finished with all the other mods.

Yeah yeah, the matches I have plenty of, with a can of petrol standing by!
I am sure I can get the igniter, but will also need all the other bits. The only thing I will ahve so far will be the dictator as this project was only planned for next year.
And then I will lso need.... someone to install it!

Buy the Dicktator... but toss that green evil Hella relay in the rubbish bin... it's a EFi disaster waiting to happen... get an original Bosch to replace it! Ask Rich why...
Order a mod'd 3Y dual mag pickup dizzi, with Dicktator mag adapter, from Bennie(BenHur)... it's a crucial part of the EFi conversion, and it's correct operation has a direct impact on the reliability of the conversion...
