Fuel Meter

Does anybody know of a digital fuel meter I can connect to my fuel line to get an accurate measure of fuel usage.

When we go out with the crew on a fishing trip, then we split the costs of the fuel. however, different terrains / locations give different consumption, and I ussually go on my average. If I have done some heavy sand driving I could come up quite short.

Thus the need for accurate measuring device

Why not just start off with a full tank and fill the car up after the trip and split the costs? That way everybody will pay their fair share. :roll:

Have to agree with Thys on this. No matter how much or what type of driving you do, it always works out evens.

The problem with that is if you go long distance, with standard tank on 2.2 you will have to fill up two to three times.
That does pose a problem with the bank balance.
It means have to carry like R1500+ on me for fuel.
I use to do this method, when petrol was still a resonable R4/ lt.

Good thing I'm not paying in zim dollars. Else I would have to have a trailer of money just for petrol.
This other lady from Zim told me to take a taxi into town, you have to carry a suitecase of money. Imagine you take the taxi to do you monthly groceries

So if anyone know if a digital fuel meter, please let me know.
