My first own vehicle that I owned is my SFA: 1989 4Y SFA D/C. Got it since 2002.
My second vehicle that I owned was a 2005 130 XE Tazz, but it got redistributed. Brilliant vehicle. Think is was one off the best vehicles Toyota made!!! It could get to over 180 (off clock) on reef altitudes on a level road. Speedo was about 8% over reading.

Since then I just keep my SFA.

I have driven other vehicles that belonged to my mom and dad. 1992 -1600 narrow head Corolla & Conquest, 2004 180 RX RunX, 2008 & 2010 D4D Fortuner 4x4, and also drove my gran's 1983 1800 GLS Sprinter Corolla. Now this RWD car could drift on a dirt road and it was surprisingly quick on overtaking and easily cruised all day at 160 on the clock.

Maybe mine was a dud, did buy it second hand, it couldn't even reverse up my driveway without the clutch reeking. The motor was aweful, sounded like it was going to blow up if you revved it to 5000, the paint was so thin you couldn't polish the car, the material on the door panels got wet once and peeled away, and the kids managed to break a few things in it quite easily. The concept was awesome but the way it was put together in my opinion was very poor and the parts for it were expensive. That was my first Toyota.

1970's Dyna - my dad bought it in the late 80's, then in the earliy 90's a friend took it over and in 2005 i laid my hands on it. It is now for sale.

In the family we had a 1989 Conquest 1300S, bought for my sister when she started her studies. Same day my dad bought a Sprinter GLS for mom. He sold the Sprinter in '92. Later, around 1996/7 he bought the Conquest from my sister again. Yes, Johan is right, those 1300's could go off the clock quite easy. 110km/h in 2nd gear! Sold the Conquest in 2007 with 380 000km!

I got him a 1996/7/8 Corolla 1300 with very low mileage for a song from a running buddy. About a year later I sourced him a 1994 160i Corolla and my brother then claimed the 1300. I got my City Golf back(which I was not bargaining on - I was expecting the Corolla!) which I previously bought from my sister and later sold to my brother...weird these family deals??? Later the Golf got redistributed while borrowing it to a friend - the only car I have ever lost money on....

Anyway, in 2005 I bought the Kz, indecently also for a good price at a LAND ROVER dealership!!! Must be the greatest truck alive!

1979 Corolla Sprinter 1600 5Spd - handled like a boat, sold it after 9 months of sea-sickness (or was it morning sickness??).
19xx Hilux chassis with Jeep Wrangler body and Ford v6 motor. Suffered serious identity crisis, but it was a chick magnet, and good offroad too.
1995 Corolla Avante 1600 GLE - Sold after 3 months, another boat, albeit with rudder, then it got burned out.
1996 Hilux SFA D/C 2.8 - Slow like snail, but frikkin awesome in the bush. This was in the land of Aus, where we drove up the fire breaks for fun.
1990 Hilux SFA D/C 4Y - Slow like 2 snails. Gave it some cheap horses and made it the most awesome Hilux in CT just behind Hoppy's 7MGE.
1990 Hilux SFA D/C 7MGE - Fast like lightning, and awesome dune riding machine.

Toyota struggles to get the car part right, but they made awesome 4x4's!!
