RFAD 30th March 2019 HEIDELBERG 4X4
Hi guys
As a club we have traditionally entered a team and sponsored an obstacle at this charity event. As I am no longer part of the club committee could one of the committee members please bring the topic of sponsorship up to arrange a sponsor for an obstacle please.
It will be held at Heidelberg 4x4 in Gauteng, a new venue.
So who is interested? if so please add your name to the list with your email address and I will forward you the entry form.

Re: RFAD 30th March 2019 HEIDELBERG 4X4
I have some good news for you.
The Hilux Club and 4x4 Direct are going to do a combined sponsor.
We will sponsor an obstacle at the event and we will sponsor the entrance fees for the participants in the Hilux Club Team.
And if we can get the team full in time and get all pilots and co pilts shirt sizes we will have shirts printed for this event.
BUT today is the 6th and the event is the 30th so we do not have lots of time for the shirts, we need to sort out the sizes by this weekend so I can place an order on Monday 11 March

Hi
Does anyone have the checklist for the vehicle requirements that the marshals check before we start?
I want to make sure the vehicle complies. (ie. recovery gear, fire extinguisher, medical kit, water, ens.)
Any idea what time and where we are going to meet?

The teams will start at their first obstacle at 8:30. With the sounding of the RFAD air-horn, the fun will begin. Each team will only receive 10 mins rotation between obstacles to move to the next obstacle and view the obstacle. After the viewing, each team will receive 30 minutes for the competitors to complete an obstacle and it is in the team’s best interest to ensure that you plan your time to get as many as possible of your team through the obstacle in the allocated time. The RFAD air-horn will indicate the start and end of each obstacle’s 30 min time window. Team members who have not competed, will not get an opportunity to start the obstacle after the 30 minutes at the obstacle have expired.
Between each obstacle a rotation between the members of a team should apply. (so the person that started the previous obstacle will be last to start at the next obstacle and so on). (Please phone a friend if you do not understand this).
After the long day of fun we will start with the prize giving at 16:00 and you will be able to find out how well you did on the day (or poorly).
The cash bar will be open from 16:00 till late.
Food will be available for sale.
Please note: No liquor will be allowed within the vehicles or to be consumed during the day when you are on the obstacles. You may use it afterwards at the prize giving and at the social when the course is closed.
After the braai, please support our sponsors and have a safe trip home! We would also like to thank all of our sponsors and all the Marshals, Organisers, and the rest of the people attending (such as yourselves) for being part of making this a great day!
Regards,
Ronell Davel
