Looking at a day out on the 20TH September have also put it on 4X4 community forum who is keen to go out and meet people and have sum fun and a braai.

Not sure if it's advisable. Last I heard is it's quite dangerous with the illegal miners etc.

They often shoot at each other and who knows what else

Cassie, the area has been cleared, a group from the "other" forum had a small GTG there two weeks ago, no problems reported and fun was had.
The only problem is there is no facilities whatsoever.
Mama ain't going to be happy.
