Re: Voting Poll
If you have the time to open this, just select on the pole please. I want to convince Toy that a 3d4d does not smoke.
Thanks

Re: Voting Poll
You should have been more specific before people cast their votes. I know mine smokes a bit under heavy load with a rich fuel ratio map, mine's chipped so a bit over fueling there...Rianc wrote:If you have the time to open this, just select on the pole please. Re: Voting Poll
Vra vir Thys of jy op die Facebook blad jou Poll kan gooi op een of ander manier. Daar's baie voete (of vingers) deur daai blad, heeltyd besig, baie deefordee ouens. Ek is seker jy sal meer feedback kry.

Re: D4D Burn hole in piston
It is usualy caused by a faulty (overfueling) injector, fairly common on turbo diesels. Excesive smoking is an early warning sign

Sorry if I was not allowed to do this, but I think it may be what your problem could be...

Re: Voting Poll
Edge, no problem, all injectors have been replace 500km ago. Still the smoking remains. They are testing it as we speak, every component you can think of!

Re: Voting Poll
Rian, I just saw Allans post & thought that it may be applicable to your vehicle.
Is it not possible that newly replaced injectors could be refueling?
