Pilgrims served eviction notices

Post by WayneSchalk »

Have you heard what is happening in Pilgrims Rest.

http://www.looklocal.co.za/looklocal/co ... on-notices

I think is it time that someone takes action, some of these businesses has been there for up and over 15 years and now they have to pack up and go, lay off all their staff!!!

when this goes through Pilgrims Rest must be boycotted as this is another attempt by Government to fill their pockets.

CAN SOUTH AFRICA SURVIVE GIVEN THE FOLLOWING?

The folks who are getting free stuff, don't like the folks who are paying for the free stuff, because the folks who are paying for the free stuff can no longer afford to pay for both the free stuff and their own stuff.
The folks who are paying for the free stuff want the free stuff to stop, and the folks who are getting the free stuff want even more free stuff on top of the free stuff they are already getting!
Now... The people who are forcing the people to pay for the free stuff have told the people who are RECEIVING the free stuff, that the people who are PAYING for the free stuff, are being mean, prejudiced, and racist.
So... The people who are GETTING the free stuff have been convinced they need to hate the people who are paying for the free stuff by the people who are forcing some people to pay for their free stuff, and giving them the free stuff in the first place.
We have let the free stuff giving go on for so long that there are now more people getting free stuff than paying for the free stuff.
Now understand this: all great democracies have committed financial suicide somewhere between 200 and 250 years after being founded. The reason? The voters figured out they could vote themselves money from the treasury by electing people who promised to give them money from the treasury in exchange for electing them. Thomas Jefferson said it best: “Democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not”.
The number of people now getting free stuff outnumbers the people paying for the free stuff. We have one chance to change that at the next election will we?

goes hand in hand with the whole debacle of the Text Book saga for Schools in limpopo..... certain ethnic groups were blamed only for the books to be found dumped in their thousands by whom........ :boss: oh and lets send a 1000 matrix students to CUBA to study medicine....where did that brainwave come from, probably because the standard is alot lower so that they can attend.....

its easier to take someone else's business then build up your own

this saga was on the news, etv news last night

and the one that mos got the tender to run the one shop, has phoned the people that are currently in business in the specific shop, asking if they can run the shop for her, as she does not have money to start running the business

corruption corruption corruption
the one problem here is that cuz its a small place and not floating in money, it then becomes difficult to take this matter to court

there is a whole bunch more that I would like to say however will leave that to the imagination

To me it feels like we all have the same opinion, (those that give). But there is no one, ie political party that will have us heard. It is time, as they ( those who get for free) would call it to take radical action.

We are sitting back complaining about the problem, but not doing anything about it!

Pelgrimsrus sakelui wen hofsaak

I copied this bit from Carte Blanche website!!!!
In other examples, Anthony showed us tender receipt documents from Public Works which showed that for The Old Print Shop, the winning bidder was R400 000 less than the losing bidder, and the caravan park was awarded to Matletle Construction at R48 885 whilst the highest bid was for R1 410 000.

Anthony: "The more absurd one is the Pilgrim's Rest Country Club, where the current operators of the country club tendered R150 000 [R158 008]. The successful bidders - which happens to be the company that got five tenders - tendered a mere R33 per month."
