Hi All
I'd like to start off with a thank you!! The amount on info on this forum is great!!
I've just joined and I'm already crammed with info.... So thanks to all, it is much appreciated.
I got a 2010 3.0D-4D, double cab, Legend 40, 4 x 4, Auto. It was always my dream to own a hilux and I love it!! I feel like a spoilt child everyday I climb into my hilux.
So far I have done a couple of mods to improve things off road and on the long road...
I did the suspension first...I opted for the Bilsteins all round...stronger coils up front and just extended shackles at the rear. Since then I did the tyres... 265/75/16 Bridgestone Duellers A/T, then front Bumper...TJM + Warn M8000 winch.
I've put an Airtech Snorkle on, National Lunar Dual Battery, Escape gear canvas seat covers, and I changed the sound system inside to something with a bit more oomf...(couldn't help it... I'm from the East Rand )
The next mod I wanna do is Rock Sliders and under body protection....And eventually a rear bumper...
Thanks again for all the info....looking forward to some forum chats....
Cheers

Looks really good Robert! Welcome!!
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

You right...that would be a little sad....
He rugby field near my house was my " yard stick" to check my approach angle before and after I fitted my front bumper....(drastically improved... I'm happy to report)
