After last years very successful event (211 vehicles and over 700 people), the annual Kwaggaskloof 4X4 Family Day is being held on the 3 September 2011. Once again the magnificent Breede Valleys Kwaggaskloof area, located just outside of Worcester, will be host to the event.
The course is suited for both 4x4 and 4x2 vehicles and will wind its way through the Kwaggaskloof area crossing several farms. There will be sponsored stops along the way which will include: sand pits, mud dams and other obstacles/challenges. The more cautious are welcome to stop at these points and observe the serious enthusiasts as they take on these challenges. Feel free to chat to our friendly sponsors who will be at these points.
The event will begin at Brandvlei Wine Cellar located on the R43.
Entries are only available on the day of the event at the Wine Cellar.
The starting time for vehicles is 07h00-10h00 and we aim to have all vehicles complete the course by 16h00. This year we have attempted to make the route a more comfortable distance in order to allow entrants more social time at the end of the day.
Entry fee is R250 per vehicle (regardless of number of passengers). A portion of the proceeds will go to selected charities. There will be entertainment in the form of meals and cash bar etc. at the main venue during the day.
