Hello all,
Firstly I must admit that I have joined under false pretenses, I have a couple of Jeeps and a couple of Land Rovers but have never had a Toyota!!!
Been pulled out of many a hole by them though!!!
But I am the enemy in your midst ;D
Basically I joined to wish good health to the people involved in the Bonniedale accident, especially Tymme, as well as to make sure Family Dog upholds my tradition of NEVER having won anything on a raffle ever before in my life. I would hate to break a good run.
I also fully intend to annoy FD by attempting to start the great 4x4 community forum tradition of selling 'black market raffle tickets'...
Rules are - THERE ARE NOW NO TICKETS LEFT!!!
so if you want one (which clearly you do) you can buy one of mine by donating R100 per ticket to the Tymme fund... then Family dog will allocate one of my tickets to the lucky bidder!!!
so - who's buying my tickets? ;D

Welcome Alex, not owning a Hilux wont count against you on this forum (yet)... I'll join you in this drive and put 3 of my 6 tickets up for sale for those who need them. I already own a brand spanking new BX2 so I dont need another one, but Tymme needs the money..
Come on guys, R100 a pop is not that much and payday just came around...

Hi Alex, and welcme ... nice to see you 'this side of the fence', even though it is with an ulterior motive (a noble one at that).
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

Re: New member - Apocalypse
Thanks for the big welcome - I dunno that I'll be trading to a Lux just yet though ;D
I ALMOST got a Fortuner.. but then I drove a Wrangler ;D
all the Toyotas I have ever bought had bad things done to them.. or good depending on your point of view ;D
I seem to spend far too much time on 4x4community forum so I imagine I won't be around too much!!!
but I gather Tymme needs support for a year so I am sure there will be some more raffles, post details on 4x4community and I am sure I will pop in!!
now - who's buying Thys and my tickets?
;D

WELCOME Apoc !!
GLAD to see you ventured over here .....
Now you KNOW that one picture of what you do to a Landy will earn you instant knight hood around here .... :)
You might even get people willing to PAY for some of those pics ... OBVIOUSLY payment to the Thyme fund !
PS - Apocalypse makes movie props. Some truly impressive stuff !

Well, we have a large number of Corsa Bakkie owners here as well...
We even have three owners that I'm aware of... perhaps more!
All welcome!
Make yourself at home, Alex!
