Yes around Queenstown, we find many unusual trees, shrubs and plants, not sure what some of them are called, but they have a beauty of their own

What do you see unusual in this photo below :?:

This plants below has a huge type of bulb that grows below the ground, during winter the top section of this plants dies off.

The seed pods that were once the flower petals turn into these pods once the flowers dissappear, this tree grows only around Queenstown on Earth, this is a true fact.

We see this quiet often around this area, there is another type of tree or plant growing out of the thorntree, it is a sort of parasite, it lives off the thorntree system, just intriging (sp).

There might be another word for it.
