Actually FUBAR has different meanings, but IIRC I once read that the origional WWII army term was in fact F*** Up Beyond All Repair.
*** FUBAR Functional Utility Bar (Stanley Tools)
*** FUBAR Fouled Up Beyond All Recognition (polite form)
*** FUBAR Failed UniBus Address Register (DEC VAX computer)
*** FUBAR Fouled Up Beyond All Repair (polite form)
*** FUBAR Fouled Up Beyond All Reason
*** FUBAR Fouled Up Beyond All Recovery
*** FUBAR Fouled Up Beyond All Recall
*** FUBAR Fouled Up Beyond All Reality
*** FUBAR Fouled Up Beyond All Relief
** FUBAR Fouled Up But Always Running (Team FUBAR, Auto Racing)
** FUBAR Fouled Up But All Right
** FUBAR Fouled Up Beyond All Restitution
So in future if you are argue with someone you can shout Foul You Too!!

EFI = Electronic Fuel injection = , usaually the injectors of an EFI system will inject the fuel into the inlet manifold where it mixes with the air and then gets sucked into the combustion chamber of each cylinder

FSI = Fuel Stratified Injection = VW system - here the fuel is injected directly into the combustion chamber (like the D4D diesels)
this way you have much better control on the air/fuel ratio.

Fuel Stratified Injection is a type of EFI system used by Volkswagen/Audi and is slightly more complex in working then the systems we use on the 4YE/22RE's
