Best SA Canopy for a Revo model Hilux?

I have had a search but I was wondering what canopy people (with experience of them) would choose for a 2019 double cab Legend 50?

We are currently in the Cape Town area and there is plenty of choice (probably too much choice!). We want an aluminium / stainless version rather than fibreglass so I’m thinking:

Anyone have a particular preference?

Going for a Gomad. The smartcab was lovely but 10K rand more…

No worries F_D, there is just so much choice in South Africa! Decided to search for one manufactured in the Cape Town area (as we are here currently) and although there were cheaper (fibreglass), Gomad had good press from an Overlander page on Faceache.

Getting it on Friday (they are spraying it) and we are in Nature Valley (East of George) so I’ll post some pictures then. We have gone for black to go with the silver double cab.

I met Hannes at Gomad the other day and had a chat while the canopy was fitted. Lovely welding on the canopy and nicely finished. The guys fitting it did a great job so we just have to see how it takes driving back to Kenya!

A big shout out to Gomad, I’m delighted with the canopy and can highly recommend them.
