Do all 7th gen SR tailgates fit all year models?

Hi guys today I smashed my mates Jdeck tailgate on his 2014 SR hilux. I am looking for a replacement and wanted to know if a 2005 tailgate would fit his 2014 given they are both 7th Gen?
