Super Bargain (I think)

Just bought a brand new in the box Superwinch X9 9000Lbs, from an old gent who says he bought it 20 odd years ago and never used it. Any guesses as to how much I paid? Your answers will tell me if it was a bargain or not.

I think that anything below 3K would be a bargain, but I'm guessing that you got it for a lot less than that. ........ 1½K ?? (Then you stole it!

OoH, ok, maybe I didn't get such a great bargain after all. I paid R4K. I see they sell for $800 in the States
