Hi guys! Last year we bought a 2014 Hilux Vigo 4x4 A/T. We liked the car as it would haul a lot of stuff on the bed. But there was one thing that we disliked and it's the ride quality, its too harsh for us since we have bad roads and usually we only carry a couple straps of wooden planks. We also brought our car to a nearby trail and the underchassis of the car kep hittin the ground, rocks, mud etc. May I ask for your advice on which 2 inch lift kit suspension we should consider that has a bit of a softer ride but still firm. These are the brands that are available to us and the budget. We plan on replacing the coils, front and rear shocks and add a leaf
1. Old Man Emu
2. Rancho
3. Ironman
4. TJM
5. Dobinsons (a bit pricey)
If your suggestion isn't on the list pls still comment below 🙂

Welcome Johann,

All the listed brands are good but I would suggest to go for the Old Man EMu, purely due to their superb reputation.

Please post some pictures of your Hilux and your area?

Agreed. TJM aren't too bad either but I would still go for the OME. I have OME in the one SFA and Dobinsons in the other - prefer the OME over Dobinsons.
