Hilux 2700i (3RZ-FE) Plug leads and Coolant temp sensor problems

Need to replace my plug leads, but the "Stealers" are trying to take both arms, and both legs
Quoted me R3200 for a set.
I see there are sets from NGK and even Bosch. Does anybody have any input on this as an alternative to the Bougi Cords, which don't impress me at all. Hilux has 600 000 km on the clock!
Also suspect that the Coolant Temp sensor is influencing the idling? Anybody have any knowledge of this?
