Hi and welcome Patrick. 
I don't know where the Vigo locking unit will be located, but on the older '90's models it is behind the passenger side kick-panel. That's on the LHS here in RSA where our vehicles are right hand drive but it could be that the wiring loom was inverted for LHD vehicles and if the Vigo followed the basic layout as previous models, that's likely where you will find it.

Are you having issues, I recently fitted factory central locking to a Early 05 Vigo SRX using the wiring diagram available on the forum, theres not much to it. But it is all controlled by the Integration Relay (Fuse Box) under the steering wheel.
