I haven't posted in a looong time, but frequently come here for technical issues/questions. Thought, I should at least put a thank you out there for all the guys taking the time to answer questions, post photos of solutions etc. Recently upgraded from a 2.7 Bullnose to a V6 Vigo and obviously the whole journey of kitting out/personalising the vehicle started all over again, plenty of questions already solved with the search function, thanks for a great forum!! This forum beats Facebook and the likes hands down!

Awesome, Gernot. Always nice to hear / read that.

Maybe you could post a few pics of the Vigo and the kitting out of it. Someone might pick up an idea or two from you. :winkx:

Thank you, that is good to hear. How about some pictures, curious to see the new member of the family

Still getting the 2.7 ready to be sold, but load bars and awning have already been transplanted. :D:
Will be taking the new family member onto her first trip this weekend and will take some decent pictures (out in nature and not in the concrete jungle). The 8 year old girl has been used as a mall crawler as far as I can tell with just over 80 000 km's, she's barely run in and in tip top shape!

Finally remembered to take a photo of the new family member while out and about:

Nothing has been modified yet, only transplanted the load bars with RTT and awning. Although I like the clean look, the list of "must haves" and "nice to haves" is growing.

Very happy with the fuel consumption of 14.4L/100km with the RTT and not too sensible driving (+/- 100km/h through the hilly Khomas Hochland). While I would love to add a replacement bumper, I am almost sure it would reflect in the fuel consumption?

Nice trokkie.

We get good feedback from the WildDog bumpers. They streamlined and not as thick as many of the others. Johan at our Vredenburg branch also fitted one to his Prado 120.

I am sure these are not going to have such a big effect on the fuel consumption.

Very nice Gernot and a respectable consumption figure for the V6!

I also doubt that an after-market bumper is going to significantly affect the economy .... yes it's a bit heavier than what you already have there as standard (I'm guessing somewhere in the region of 30kg) but I think it will offer a little less wind resistance. The 4lit V6 won't even feel that and less drag on the open road might even off-set it altogether.

The WildDog bumper shown by Pieter looks cool!

Loving the vehicle, should have upgraded long time ago! Usually commute by motorbike, but it's a tough choice nowadays, because even sitting in traffic doesn't bug me in the V6 Auto :cooldude:

Good looking bumper, definitely worthwhile taking a closer look! Thanks for the recommendation
