1963 Toyopet Stout

In many countries the Toyopet Stout was the first vehicle imported by Toyota. In South Africa they started in 1963.

We stumbled upon a 1963 Toyopet Stout.
It still has a nice straight body with relatively little rust for such an old vehicle.
Still deciding what we gonna do with her once she is running.

Agree. Restore it. Rare vehicles now, so very nice find indeed. They were quite sparse and simple but looks like everything is there, so shouldn't cost an arm and a leg. Just some upholstery trimming, body work and respray ... well worth it. :winkx:
